Confusion I need clarified…What is sexuality? This seems to present sexual orientations, but transsexual is grouped with them. Is there a difference between one’s sexual orientation and one’s sexuality? Please respond to this in my ask box or submit it so I can share it:]

I’m a big fan of the artist, humon, who creates such comics as Scandinavia and the world, Love and Tentacles, and Niels. However, this is pretty problematic. I’m not sure how I feel about the whole heterosexual flag thing, and transgender/transsexuality is NOT a sexuality or sexual orientation. It is a gender identification. Also the genderqueer flag is left out. I’m not sure if other gender identifications even have a flag (they should). Or if polysexual and queer have flags. Regardless, I think the title should be Gender and Sexual Minorities Flags or some other more encompassing title.

Also, I’d like to state the humon isn’t a native english speaker, so that might be where some of the confusion comes from. Also, she’s stated on her deviantart that she knows Trans isn’t a sexual orientation, “but that people would have complained if it was left out”
